Transportation

It is also possible to take a bus to Hemsedal or a train to Gol. Let us know if you need transportation from the bus/train and we will help organize this.

Sleeping

All guests are accommodated at Huso Lodge. You will be assigned a bedroom in a cabin/apartment with someone you already know. Some guests/couples will be accommodated in their own apartments.

Information about which cabin/apartment you will be staying in will be posted on the website well in advance of the wedding. Your name will also be on the door. If you are unsure, ask upon arrival.

Speeches and entertainment

Saturday Part 1
Øyvind Woie (Emilie's uncle) will be the toastmaster during dinner and will guide us safely through all three courses. If you would like to say a few words, please get in touch with him at +47 400 20 801 or email woiwoie@gmail.com.

Saturday Part 2
Oskar Hadland and Tom Åge Osestad will be the toastmasters when the cake table and the party begin. If you would like to contribute with a performance, a game/competition, please contact Oskar at 95837256 / oskarhad@hotmail.com or Tom Åge at 47611861 / tomage96@hotmail.com.

What do i need to pack

  • The nicest clothes you have

  • Wool sweater and Birkenstock

  • Swimwear and towel for wood-fired bath, swimming and sauna

  • Warm clothes for grilling

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste

  • Extra underware

  • Mosquito spray

  • Sunscreen

  • Anything else you feel you need for a weekend in the mountains

Gifts

Since you pay for your accommodation yourself, we have no expectations of gifts - your participation is gift enough for us!

However, if anyone still feels the desire to give something extra, you will find some gift ideas in the lists below. Please remember to register in the list if you purchase something.

Kids

We chose to have a wedding without children, and hope you can see it as a well-deserved break and an opportunity to enjoy the weekend to the fullest.

Do you have a small baby who still needs you? Then it is of course perfectly fine to bring the little one. Please give us a hint about this, so we can arrange it for you in the best possible way!
